If your mind has been feeling busy lately or your body has been holding onto tension long after the day is over, you’re not alone. Many of us carry the energy of conversations, responsibilities, and restless thoughts into the evening without even realizing it — and that’s often what makes it harder to fully relax before sleep.
That’s exactly why I created this gentle 5-Minute Sleep Body Scan Meditation — a short, soothing practice designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body and breath, and ease naturally into deep rest. Sometimes we don’t need a long or complicated routine. Just a few intentional minutes of breathing, awareness, and softness can signal to the nervous system that it’s safe to let go and relax.
In this meditation, you’ll be guided through a calming body scan combined with mindful breathing and ASMR-style relaxation guidance. The audio also includes a subtle transition from alpha waves into theta-wave binaural beats, supporting the brain’s natural shift into sleep.
For this meditation, I’ve also decided to include calming subliminal affirmations in the background. The following affirmations are played on a loop at a subliminal level (-42 dB) throughout the meditation: “Right now, I am fully supported, held, and safe. I allow my body and mind to fully relax now.” — for even deeper relaxation and rest.
I personally love short practices like this for evenings when you feel tired but mentally “switched on.” You can listen right before bed, during a quiet nighttime routine, or even when you need a peaceful nap during the day.
